Privacy Policy

IdleDev ("we", "us") operates idledev.xyz and the IdleDev CLI. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We sell developers' idle screen time, not their code.

1. What we collect

• Account data: email, hashed password (or OAuth identity), country derived from IP at sign-up.
• Earnings telemetry (devs): ad impression and click events, anonymized language tag, country, hour-of-day, ad ID, payout in paise. We never receive your code, prompts, file contents, or AI responses.
• Campaign data (advertisers): ad copy, destination URL, brand, budget, tracking surfaces, optional postback email when verified signups are enabled.
• Payment data: processed by Cashfree. We store the order ID, payment ID, status, and amount in paise. We do not store card numbers, CVV, or bank credentials.
• Server logs: IP address, user-agent, and request path retained up to 30 days for abuse prevention.

2. What we never collect

• Your source code, files, prompts, AI conversations, or terminal output.
• Keystrokes, screen contents, or clipboard data.
• Tokens, secrets, or environment variables from your machine.

The CLI only sends anonymous targeting hints (detected language, hour, country) and renders the ad text returned by our server.

3. How we use data

• Route relevant ads, compute payouts, and prevent click fraud.
• Process advertiser payments via Cashfree and credit developer balances.
• Send transactional email (payout confirmations, security alerts).
• Aggregate, anonymized analytics to improve the bid market.

4. Sharing

We share data only with: Cashfree (payments), Lovable Cloud (hosting and database), and the advertiser whose campaign you clicked (the destination URL, no personal identifier). We never sell personal data.

When an advertiser enables "verified signup" tracking, we forward the signup-postback email they provided to the host site so the host can confirm conversions. Devs are never named in this payload.

5. Reverse engineering and reuse

Anonymous telemetry is collected solely to operate IdleDev. You may not scrape, mirror, retrain on, or otherwise use the IdleDev platform, CLI, dashboards, ad-serving algorithm, or any of its source-derived behavior to build a competing product or to reproduce how IdleDev works. 6. Your rights

Email contact@idledev.xyz to access, correct, export, or delete your data. We respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes all PII and aggregates remaining telemetry beyond identification.

7. Children

IdleDev is not directed at users under 18. Do not use the service if you are a minor.

8. Changes

We will post material changes here and email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
