# IdleDev

> A live ad marketplace that turns AI coding agent idle time into income. Developers earn while Claude Code is thinking; advertisers bid for a one-line sponsored slot in the status bar.

IdleDev runs a real-time bid market for the status-bar slot shown while Claude Code processes a request. Developers install the CLI, opt in, and keep 65% of every bid served on their machine. Advertisers fund campaigns priced per 1,000 impressions (CPM) with targeting by language, country, and hour-of-day. The CLI never sees source code, prompts, or AI responses.
